- The badge was worn by Dot Sayers as an attendee and participant of the Pro Rec program. When performing at the Pacific National Exhibition, the West Vancouver group practiced on the ferry to Vancouver. The headquarters of the group was in Ambleside. The Pro Rec program was government funded but was cancelled when W.A.C.? Bennett became premier in 1945. The program offered exercise and dance classes to working young adults. Pro Rec groups from all over the province performed at the Pacific National Exhibition.
