- Description
- a) Small rectangular manicure set case containing five manicure utensils. Skin leather and is lined with green/brown fabric. Case has fold over flap, which is secured with a brown plastic snap. Interior features five leather straps, which secure the contents of manicure set: buffer, scissors, tweezers, nailfile, and buffing powder. Text on the back of snap reads "A. RAYMOND RG". A sewing needle is poked into the fabric of the upper flap. A pin is poked into the fabric of the lower flap.
- b) Small elongated oval nail buffer with a handle, which forms part of a manicure set. Top of buffer is made of cream colour bone or plastic. Buffer pad is made of white chamois leather and is attached to top by a metal band. Buffer is secured within manicure case by a leather strap with a metal snap.
- c) A pair of small silver metal nail scissors, which form part of a manicure set. Scissors curve up at the end. The outside of each blade is serrated. Scissors are held in place, inside manicure case, by a leather strap.
- d) Clean plastic case containing a fold-out metal nail file, which forms part of a nailefile, is held in place, inside manicure case, by a leather strap. File shows signs of corrosion on both sides.
- e) A pair of silver metal tweezers, which form part of a manicure set. Ends are pointed. Sides have raised pattern. Text inscribed on front of handle reads "MAIDE IN/ENGLAND". Tweezers are held in place, inside manicure case, by a leather strap.
- f) Base has straight sides and contains loos pint powder. Box is held in place, inside manicure case, by a leather strap.
- g) Cylindrical, cream coloured, plastic box with pull of flattened dome shape lid.
