- Bob Caverley lived in Hollyburn cabins from 1947. He purchased Westlake Lodge in 1972, renaming it Cypress Park Resort. His improvements to the Lodge included a full course dining room and licensed premises, but without guarantees that he could continue to operate he was reluctant to invest in further changes. He sold the Lodge to the McCann family in 1985.
