- Scope and Content
- A road in the Glenmore neighbourhood, south of Ballantree Drive.
- Origin Note
- Name recommended by Street Names Committee and adopted by Council in 1964.
- The roads in Glenmore have a distinctly Scottish flavour, reflecting the country of birth of Alexander Browning, the development manager of the subdivision. 'Ballantree' may refer to the town of Ballantrae in South Ayrshire. From the Gaelic 'Baile na Tràgha' which means 'town by the beach'.
