Narrative: Created for the fifth anniversary of the Libby Lodge society in October 1983.

Description: Photograph album (a) with adhesive card pages and acetate? covers. photographs of the residents activities and building of Libby Lodge as well as napkins and other paper commemorating activities, anniversaries and visits of members of British Royal family to the Lower Mainland. Last page is an envelope with label paper clipped to it and three papers inside. One paper (d) certifies the incorporation of the Horseshoe Bay Retirement Society under the Societies Act of BC, one annual report (c) by the Society president, L. Libby for 1979 and one newspaper clipping (b) about transfer of management of Libby Lodge from the Horseshoe Bay Retirement Society to the Howe Sound Lion's Club. Inside front cover is a handwritten dedication on a piece of paper taped in place. The cover of the album has a laurel and flower wreath closed at teh top with bow and a '5' in the centre.
