Description
An incomplete gypsy outfit comprising waistcoat, hat and scarf.
a) A blue cotton bolero style waistcoat edged with wide black and blue brocade. PL and PR front edges are detailed with small copper discs. Each disc is attached bya loop of ten tiny glass beads of assorted colours.
b) A piece of unhemmed, red cotton fabric tied into a head scarf. Numerous small imitation gold metal coins are hand sewn along the diagnal edges of the ties. Coins are embossed with illegible symbols.
c) A long irregular shaped piece of unhemmed red cotton fabric used as a scarf. 56 small imitation gold metal coins are hand sewn midway along long top edge of scarf. Coins are embossed with illegible symbols.
