- a) Rectangular cardboard box for celery seeds. Yellow with horizontal orange stripe along the bottom on all sides. Yext on all sides in black with exception of the logo "EMPRESS" in orange and black. Front and back are identical, with an image of a steamer ship beneath the brand name.

- a) Rectangular cardboard box for celery seeds. Yellow with horizontal orange stripe along the bottom on all sides. Yext on all sides in black with exception of the logo "EMPRESS" in orange and black. Front and back are identical, with an image of a steamer ship beneath the brand name.
- b) Nearly empty pouch of wax paper inside the box. A few leftover granules of celery and the smell of celery seeds is still strong. Top of the pouch folded over.

- b) Because the pouch fits neatly inside the box, it appears too fragile to move and measure. It is approximately the same size as the box interior.

- a) Front and back read "EMPRESS/BRAND/WHOLE/CELERY SEED/EMPRESS MFG.CO./DIVISION OF/MACDONALDS CONSOLIDATED LTD./VANCOUVER, B.C.". If top is right side up you are facing the front. Top reads "EMPRESS/BRAND/WHOLE/CELERY SEED". PL Side runs vertically "WHOLE/CELERY SEED". PR Side "WHOLE/CELERY SEED/NET WT./1½ / Ounces". On the PL Side top, there is the symbol (see catalogue entry form for drawing of symbol) on the bottom "2 25 - 59" with "10" in a circle stamped over top in blue.
